July 14th is our OFFICIAL 70th anniversary! We have programs happening all week, so be sure to check them out.
Join Michelle on the WEST side of the park, at the Lion’s Pavillion, every Tuesday for storytime! Fun themes each week, plus crafts, games, and more. Our Summer Storytimes are suitable for the whole family. Kids under 5 may need additional help with some crafts and games, and kids 10+ are great for helping out the littles or as Michele needs an extra hand.
As we’ll be open in our new location, it’s perfect to walk (or ride) down to the library to browse and check out materials afterward!
Each of our librarians will be taking on the task of examining an ancient form of cooking.
Join Samma on July 14th to talk about BREAD. Everyone who wants to will go home with a sourdough starter.
Join Michelle on July 28th to explore STEW. She will have 2 types to sample.
Finally, join Lora on August 11th for a special Breakfast for Dinner, and the different ways that pancakes and waffles have been prepared around the world.
Meet and chat with local graphic novel artist and author, Jacoby Matott.
