Library Board Meetings

Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of the month at 4:30 PM.
All meetings are posted at least 24 hours in advance and may also be attended virtually.

What Does the Library Board Do?

The Library Board are those community members who help develop policies, improve, and advocate for the library. Our trustees are appointed by the Village President, after application to the library director and board. You can learn more about our current board members below.

The Library Board has adopted Wisconsin General Records Schedule in 2019.

Meet The Library Trustees

Diana Mackie

Diana Mackie is the Library Board President. Previously, she held the office of Secretary from 2019-22 and Vice President in 2022-24. She has been part of the library board since 2018. Diana works as a Library Aide at Cadott Elementary.

Cookie Kaste

Katherine “Cookie” Kaste is our Library Board Vice-President, after holding the President position from 2021-2024 and joined the board in 2019. Cookie is a long-time supporter of Cadott’s need for a new library building and is excited to start us on our journey with the project.

Tanya Skalecki

Tanya Skelecki is our board secretary and has served since 2022. She is a professor at UW-Superior and had been utilizing the library for several months for it’s WiFi as she teaches remotely. When the opprotunity came to join the Board, she wanted to step up and learn more about how the library functions.

Nick Kotek

Nick Kotek has previously served as both President and Vice President of the Library Board. He also serves as our representative of the Cadott School District.

Ron Duncan

Ron Duncan is our Village Board representative and newest trustee. He was elected in April 2024 and assigned to the Library Board. Ron is a local business owner of Ron’s Designs & Signs.
