Library Board Meetings

Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of the month at 4:30 PM.
All meetings are posted at least 24 hours in advance and may also be attended virtually.

What Does the Library Board Do?

The Library Board are those community members who help develop policies, improve, and advocate for the library. Our trustees are appointed by the Village President, after application to the library director and board. You can learn more about our current board members below.

The Library Board has adopted Wisconsin General Records Schedule in 2019.

Meet The Library Trustees

Cookie Kaste

Katherine “Cookie” Kaste is has been the Library Board President since 2021 and joined the board in 2019. Cookie is a long-time supporter of Cadott’s need for a new library building and is excited to start us on our journey with the project.

Diana Mackie

Diana Mackie is the Library Board Vice President. Previously, she held the office of Secretary from 2019-2022. She has been part of the library board since 2018. Diana works as a Library Aide at Cadott Elementary.

Tanya Skalecki

Tanya Skelecki is our newest board member and new board secretary. She is a professor at UW-Superior and has been utilizing the library for several months for it’s WiFi as she teaches remotely. She is very excited to join the board as we get started with our new building project.

Nick Kotek

Nick Kotek has previously served as both President and Vice President of the Library Board. He also serves as our representative of the Cadott School District.

Nicole Whipp Sime

Nicole Whipp Sime is our Village Board representative. She was elected in April 2023 and assigned to the Library Board. She works for the Chippewa Valley Electric Co-Op.
