Going on Tour
Adult Reading Program
For the program, we have reading slips, available for download on the forms tab or at the library. Read or listen to three books and write down the titles on the form. Turn completed forms into the library for tickets and a small prize! These tickets can be placed into our prize boxes in the adult department. We have several different prizes to choose from and you can place as many tickets into a box as you desire to increase your chances of winning.
Winners will be drawn at the end of the reading program!
Children & Teen Reading Program
Your goal could be “Read once a day”, “Read for thirty minutes”, or “Read 300 pages” as an example.
Mark off a white circle on the tour every time the goal is reached and when you meet your goal for a fifth time, mark off the star! Bring your log in to spin our prize wheel each time you mark off a star.
Throughout the summer you can also be working on the Scavenger Hunt! Bring in completed scavenger hunts and several winners will be chosen at the end of summer to receive a prize!
The Activity path does not earn any prizes but is more of a fun extension activity for kids and families to do together to foster reading and development.
Finally, the music note can be colored and turned into the library so we can place it on our bulletin board music scales!
